In fall 2021, the Whose Land? team partnered with Hunter College’s Film and Media Department and the New York-based Lenape Center to document the Lenape Center’s seed rematriation and preservation project in upstate New York. The Lenape Center aims to sustain Lenapehoking culture in its ancestral lands (including current-day New York City) through community, culture and the arts. Among other activities, graduate students in Hunter’s Integrated Media Arts masters program produced an 8-minute documentary film for the Lenape Center’s exhibition Lenapehoking.
